Grocery Stores is a garage-rock band from Italy, formed around 2017 in Rimini. At the roots of the Romagna-scene, alongside bands and collaborators such as Sonic3, Alternative Station, LudovicoVan and many others. Its sound is an amalgamation of rock’n’roll, surf and old school variations and influences, from 60s way of DIY recordings to naif approaches and attitudes in the making of the songs.

Their first EP “For Sale” released by Los Angeles based Z Tapes branch, declares four track of emphasis and youth feelings, swinging into four different modes for circa 10 minutes.

Grocery Stores are Demetrio Cecchitelli (guitar, voice, business man), Ivan Kotov (bass, sound engineer, history enthusiast) and Giovanni Gessaroli (drummer, architect, taxi driver).

The fourth track of the EP ("Tandem") has been previously released on the compilation 'Spring 2021' on the main Z Tapes (Slovakia) > ztapes.bandcamp.com/album/spring-2021
